LJ Workwear is a third-generation family business, producing branded workwear to a vast range of
industries. Experts in providing the exact garment to suit their customer’s needs, they also
execute flawless decorating processes in-house.
Whilst they have exceptional Technical and Sales staff, they don’t have any dedicated,
experienced marketers on board, and to hire a full team to meet their requirements would have
been too expensive. Consequently, marketing didn’t receive specific resources: time, long-term
planning or financial investment. As a result, activity took place in an ad-hoc way without an
integrated strategy, tracking or measuring of tactics.
LJ Workwear were blown away by the increase in quality enquiries we've had since using Gumpo.
We worked with the company to discuss their business goals and how our services could achieve
them. We knew it would not be as cost effective to treat this as a fixed project, so suggested
our Account Managed Services instead. This gives a more flexible approach, with access to our
full range of studio services at a monthly fee, with no contract.
We built LJ Workwear a whole new website, with new content, structure and ‘quote basket’ system,
with the aim of generating leads for their Account Managers to then follow-up on.
We set up fully tracked and measured Pay Per Click campaigns across a selection of platforms to
generate traffic to the website, increasing sales leads and conversions.
LJ Workwear were able to acquire an entire experienced marketing department, without the
cost or additional head-count of taking the services in-house, which would have ultimately
affected the cost of their products and therefore market position.
Access to skilled professionals across the marketing mix- designers, web developers, digital
marketers, copywriters, strategists and IT specialists- has given LJ Workwear flexibility to
switch their marketing focus as necessary, making them agile in meeting their business
needs. If a new campaign is needed across the website and advertising channels, it can be
designed and implemented across all channels efficiently, with easy communication.
This work led to an increase in web enquiries, and a decrease in Cost Per Acquisition as we
reduced the cost per click. It also more than doubled organic traffic within a couple of
weeks, as it began ranking for the manufacturer names and some specific work-wear items that
were listed on the site.
